Great upfront flavor with the green chilies, but the backend HEAT will get you. This product should be classified as HOT and not mild. Also, a warning should be placed on the website and package on what to expect.

This is the perfect Carne Seca made with TONS of green chile so that you are still left with a nice covering after the meat has dried. Best Jerky Ever!

This is like no jerky I have had before. Almost paper thin with one side slathered in green chile. It is sort of like a potato chip when you first bite into it. Once your saliva hits the jerky it is a flavor explosion of amazing green chile with a slight heat from the pepper. The after taste stays with you. Great green chili flavor and the slight heat. Walked around with the flavor in my mouth for 5 minutes after eating, had to have another piece. So good. Same for the Christmas (red chile and green chili) jerky.
