Teriyaki
The teriyaki flavor was amazing. However the texture of the chunks was too hard. I won’t buy this again as some were too hard to eat and I like the thin slices more.

I ordered 3 large size bags of the Teriyaki jerky. I received mixed results regarding quality. One bag of the teriyaki jerky is wonderful, just like all of the other bags of teriyaki jerky I have ordered in the past. However, the other 2 bags of teriyaki jerky are not of the same quality as the 1 bag and other previous bags of teriyaki jerky. These two bags contain an oily sweet substance that coats the inside of the bags. It is sticky to touch and causes the pieces of jerky to stick together, making separation into bite-size pieces very difficult. Too bad because this is one of my favorite varieties of jerky. Never had this problem before.

So just as tasty as my first order, however this is quite a bit tougher to chew like it was dehydrated to long.

Mom Approved
I asked my mom what she wanted for Christmas. She has pretty much everything she needs so buying gifts for her isn't easy. She thought about it and said, "Hey, how about some of that Teriyaki jerky from New Mexico. I really like it." She's 92 so she has a pretty good idea what's good and what's not. This Teriyaki jerky is now mom approved!

For her 92nd birthday, mom asked for another order of Mike's Teriyaki jerky. She didn't want flowers or cards, just the jerky. It got there rally fast with a nice birthday note enclosed and she says the stuff is great.
