great mild taste of bacon
Great taste of bacon not to much where it kills the taste of the jerky

Great stuff
While the rest of my order was for a Christmas Present, I did sample the bacon flavored jerky. It was as close to melt-in-your-mouth as you can get with jerky.

Packaging issues
I purchased the bacon and butter jerky's as a Christmas gift after seeing a tv show featuring Mike's Jerky. Loved the idea of a thin crispy jerky for my boyfriend. When it arrived, the bacon jerky was broken into little pieces. The butter mesquite is fine. I wonder if it was rough handling by the shipper? Havent tasted it yet and Im sure it will be awesome but was disappointed that it was all crunched up.

Not a fan!
I initially thought wow, bacon flavored jerky...got to be a winner. Then I read the ingredient list which was not as healthful as I would like. Try to avoid hydrogenated oils, corn syrups and MSG, but the allure of bacon flavor swayed me and I ordered. Never second guess yourself. My main issue was that all I tasted was an intense bacon flavor...Where's the beef? I could not taste the beef through the flavor enhancers. Seemed like fake bacon not bacon seasoned beef. Not a fan.
